Planner
The planner is where each tech decides what they are actually doing this week. It sits next to the dashboard and pulls from the same tickets, project tasks and time your team already tracks.
The weekly board
Section titled “The weekly board”A full Monday to Sunday board with one card per piece of work. The weekend columns are shaded but fully usable, so out-of-hours and on-call work can be scheduled like any other day. Cards come in three kinds, colour coded down the left edge:
- Tickets (blue): open tickets assigned to you.
- Project tasks (teal): your project tasks that are not yet done, showing the project and due date.
- Manual items (amber): free text you type in (a 1:1, drafting an SOW, an onsite visit, the weekly ops recap), with an optional hour estimate.
Drag a card between days to reschedule it. Drop it in the Unplanned strip to park it without a date, then drag it onto a day when you are ready.
Tick a card off as you finish it. Clicking a card opens the underlying ticket or project (manual cards open for editing).
Pulling in your work
Section titled “Pulling in your work”The My open work section lists tickets and project tasks assigned to you that are not on the planner yet. Each has an “Add to” picker so you can drop it straight onto a day or into Unplanned. Anything already on your planner is left out, so the list stays clean. When the list is long, use the search box to filter it by subject, ticket number or client.
KPI targets
Section titled “KPI targets”A targets panel shows the four MSP numbers that matter, each with a target and a live actual:
- New MRR: new logo revenue won this month.
- SLA compliance: resolution SLA compliance over the last 30 days.
- Utilization: billable share of the time logged this month.
- MRR at risk: recurring revenue tied to clients flagged medium or high churn risk.
Actuals are computed the same way the matching report computes them, so the two never disagree. Managers and admins can edit the targets from the panel.
Weeks and other techs
Section titled “Weeks and other techs”Move between weeks with the arrows, or jump back with This week. Managers and admins can switch to another tech from the picker in the header to view and adjust that person’s week.
On the dashboard
Section titled “On the dashboard”The dashboard carries a Today’s plan card: what you have scheduled for today, or the week ahead when today is clear, plus a compact strip of the same KPI actuals and a link into the full planner.
