Opentra keeps two catalogues so that anything you sell — a piece of hardware or a per-seat managed service — has a single definition with a cost and a price.

The product catalogue holds items with a unit cost and unit price. Add them to tickets and invoices so one-off hardware and goods are priced consistently and margin is visible.

A separate catalogue of managed software services — antivirus, spam filtering, backup and the like — each with a default billing unit and price (with cost, including a USD cost where you buy in USD). These feed software agreement contracts, so a per-seat service is priced the same way every time you build an agreement.

Manage both in Settings → Products.
